Anita Curcio
Fitness Instructor
Hi,
I’m Anita, an Exercise Scientist, Fitness Instructor and Receptionist at FNQ Health and Fitness.
I really enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities and creating a supportive, welcoming and enjoyable environment where everyone feels comfortable and motivated to achieve their goals. I love being part of our clients’ health and fitness journeys and supporting them to become stronger, healthier and more confident.
My areas of interest include strength and conditioning, performance and skill development, healthy ageing and exercise for people living with degenerative conditions. I enjoy being able to combine my knowledge and passion for exercise with the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients.
I have always enjoyed being active and involved in sport. Growing up, I participated in athletics and played both hockey and touch football. While still at school, I completed my Certificate III in Fitness before going on to study a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science.
Alongside my passion for health and fitness, I have always enjoyed office work and administration. I also completed a Certificate III in Business, which has helped me develop strong organisational and communication skills. I enjoy bringing these skills together in my role at FNQ Health and Fitness, supporting both our clients and the wider team.
Outside of work, I’m happiest outdoors. I love heading away camping with my partner and our four dogs, as well as spending time working around the yard of our beautiful home. Being active and enjoying the outdoors is a big part of who I am, both personally and professionally.
